Welcome to the POCC Job Mela Online Test

  • Please read all the instructions carefully. Ability to read, understand and follow instructions is important for the job - students who do not follow the instructions exactly will not be made offers.
  • Total time for this test is 90 minutes. It is OK to take 10-15 minutes more than that, but if take much more than that, your score will be reduced depending on how much extra time you took.
  • There are 3 links given below. Clicking on any link takes you to a corresponding test.
  • You have to attempt all 3 tests. If you wish to switch from one test to another at any time, you can click on the "Home" link at the top of the page to come back to this page. Different companies are likely to assign different weightages to these three sections.
  • The rapid-fire test is a timed test. You must answer as many questions as possible in 10 minutes. This test must be done all at once. If you switch from this test to another test, you will not be able to come back to this test later.
  • The CS Concepts test has 11 objective questions in 3 sections. You should try to finish this in 15 to 20 minutes - so that you have time for the programming.
  • The programming section asks you to write 2 programs. We expect that this will take you about 1 hour or a little more.
  • Read instructions in programming problems carefully. Read feedback generated by the system carefully. Most wrong answers are because of inability to read instructions carefully.
  • IMPORTANT Note on Copying: DO NOT share your answers with anybody else. Our system is extremely good at detecting copied answers. If two answers from different users are found to have similarities, BOTH submissions will be disqualified. So, you can get disqualified for copying even if you wrote the original answer. Those who copy try various tricks to confuse our system, including changing a few things around, adding removing comments, changing variable names, changing the order of statements. Our program is good at catching all of this. The only safe method is to write the answer yourself, and to make sure that no one else gets a copy of your answer.
